As part of our expansion, we are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Tramper to join our team Tockwith – Wetherby.

Job Summary:

As a Class 1 Tramper, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our valued customers. Your primary responsibility will be operating our Class 1 vehicles, transporting various general haulage loads across assigned routes. This is a Monday to Friday position, allowing you to enjoy your weekends off.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Load and unload goods, ensuring secure and proper handling of cargo.

Plan and execute delivery routes, adhering to schedules and deadlines.

Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle maintenance records.

Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and promptly report any defects or issues.

Maintain effective communication with the transport team and customers, providing timely updates on delivery status.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Possession of a valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.

CPC and Digi-Tacho card.

Minimum of 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.

Good knowledge of the UK road network and transport regulations.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing schedules and demanding workloads.

Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile.
